What we collect when you contact or book with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Xicoxico Tuk Tuk, Lda, trading as Chico Chico Tours, registered in Portugal under NIPC 518048381, with its registered office at Rua Professor Noronha Feio 14, 1.º B, 2790-400 Queijas, Lisboa.

What we collect
When you send a booking request we collect the information you type into the form: your name, email address, the tour and duration you want, your preferred date, the number of people, and anything you write in the message field.
If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or telephone, we hold that conversation and the phone number or address you contacted us from.
We do not collect payment card details on this website. Card payments, once enabled, are processed by Stripe, and card data goes to Stripe and never to us.
Why we use it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange and run your tour, and contact you if something about the booking changes — a weather problem, a timing conflict, or a pickup adjustment.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We do not send marketing emails unless you specifically ask us to.
Who else sees it
The guide who is running your tour sees your name, pickup point, group size and any notes you gave us. That’s it.
If you book through GetYourGuide, Viator or Klook, that platform handles your data under its own privacy policy and passes us only what we need to run the tour.
We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as Portuguese tax and accounting law requires. Enquiries that never became bookings are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we’re using it. Write to info@chicochicotours.com and we will respond within thirty days.
If you think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese data protection authority.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics or a booking widget are added later, this page will be updated and a consent banner added before they load.
