Lisbon is built on hills, which is wonderful to look at and exhausting to walk. This tour solves that: we drive you up every one of them, and you get out only where the view is worth it.
We start in the old town at Santa Luzia, where the tiled terrace looks straight down over Alfama’s rooftops to the Tagus. From there we work our way up through Portas do Sol and Graça to Nossa Senhora do Monte — the highest viewpoint in the city, and the one we stop at for a coffee and a warm pastel de nata.
Then we go somewhere most visitors never see. Penha de França and Jardim do Torel have the same panoramic sweep as the famous miradouros and almost none of the crowd. Your guide will probably have the terrace to themselves to explain what you’re looking at.
Three hours is exactly the time this route needs: long enough to stop properly at all eight viewpoints instead of rushing between them, and to sit down for a coffee and a warm pastel de nata at the highest one.

About the viewpoints tour
How long is the tour?
Three hours, covering all eight viewpoints at a comfortable pace — including the coffee and pastel de nata stop at Nossa Senhora do Monte, and enough time at each terrace to actually take the view in.
Is there much walking?
Very little. We park at each viewpoint and the terraces are a few steps away. The whole point of the tour is that the tuk-tuk does the climbing.
Can we do this at sunset?
Yes, and it’s the best time of day for it. Tell us when you book and we’ll time the route so you’re at the highest viewpoint as the light goes.
