Chico Chico Tours is a small Lisbon company. We like it that way — it’s the reason our guests remember their guide’s name.
Take a tour with a True Local
We started Chico Chico Tours because we kept watching visitors get the wrong Lisbon. Bussed to the same three viewpoints, handed a script, photographed in front of the tower, gone. A city with this much texture deserves better than a circuit.
So we built the opposite. Every tour is private. Every guide is from here. And every route is a suggestion rather than a rule — if you’d rather spend twenty minutes in one square than tick off two more monuments, that’s your tour and your call.
The tuk-tuks are fully electric, which matters more than it sounds. They’re quiet enough that your guide doesn’t have to shout over an engine, and they don’t pump exhaust into streets where people are hanging their washing out three metres above your head.
We’re licensed by Turismo de Portugal under RNAAT n.º 599/2024 and carry both company liability and personal injury insurance. Nothing about that is exciting, but you should know it before you get into anyone’s vehicle.

Three things we don’t compromise on
Private, every time
You will never be put in a tuk-tuk with strangers. One booking, one vehicle, one group — yours.
Electric only
The whole fleet is electric. Quieter for you, better for Alfama, and it’s not a marketing line — it’s the only kind of tuk-tuk we own.
Properly licensed
RNAAT n.º 599/2024, registered company, full insurance. Ask any Lisbon operator for their number — plenty can’t give you one.
